The Farm

The Farm at Living Tree is more than just a working farm—it's a vibrant educational hub where the principles of regenerative agriculture, permaculture, and holistic management come to life.

Our farm is not only a source of nourishing food for our community but also the foundation for hands-on learning experiences that inspire change.

Through immersive summer camps, field trips, and other enrichment programs, participants learn how to nurture the land and the natural connections between plants, soil, water, animals, humans, and the seasons.

Our agricultural land covers 13 acres, with nearly an acre planted with rotated annual crops, berries, herbs, flowers, a greenhouse, and a small fruit orchard. We raise meat birds, laying hens, and a small flock of Jacob’s sheep. We also sustainably harvest cordwood and lumber, and maple sap for sugaring.

Programs

Camps

At our summer camps, kids explore the joys of farm life—visiting the animals, planting and harvesting fresh vegetables and fruits, and cooking with farm-grown ingredients. They’ll explore our beautiful forests, swim in our private swimming hole, and enjoy games, crafts, and our adventure playground.
