Klezmer Fire: A Mystical Shabbat Experience

  • Living Tree Alliance 96 Living Tree Lane Moretown, VT, 05660 United States (map)

An evening of live music, fire dancing, and celebration

What happens when a klezmer band meets fire dance? Come find out!

Welcome Shabbat as the sun sets, then let the music take you. Live musicians weave together klezmer, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European traditions on clarinet, oud, and percussion alongside fire-spinning spectacles.

Bring a picnic dinner and enjoy the warmth and magic of the farm at Living Tree Alliance.

  • Tickets are pay-what-you-can (suggested $10+)

  • Add a campsite for $30 (includes composting toilet, drinking water, outdoor kitchen access)

About the artists

This evening is brought to life by Living Tree Alliance's summer work-traders and community members, who came here to farm, learn, and build something together—including this.

Solomon Alber is a California-based klezmer clarinetist, saxophonist, and nigun explorer with a jazz background. He's joined by oud player Leora Rosner and other musicians rounding out an ensemble spanning klezmer, Middle Eastern, and Eastern European sounds—with fire dancing by Nathan Coppock, a local fire spinner and artist.
